1. The giveaway

Monthly giveaways is a monthly giveaway run by VXD INC, operating as WHITEHORSE ("we", "us"). Customers who share a photo of a WHITEHORSE product installed outdoors can be selected each month to win another unit of that same product, free of charge. Our contact details are on our contact page.

2. Who can enter

The giveaway is open to anyone aged 18 or the age of majority where they live, whichever is higher, who has purchased a WHITEHORSE product from any store where our products are sold, and who lives in a country we ship to. Employees of VXD INC and members of their households may not enter. The giveaway is void where prohibited by law.

3. How to enter

Go to the Monthly giveaways page on teamwhitehorse.com, enter your order number, name and email address, and upload up to five photos or videos showing your WHITEHORSE product installed outdoors (JPG, PNG or HEIC photos up to 32 MB; MP4 or MOV videos up to 400 MB). They must be your own work and must not show other identifiable people without their permission.

Each item you purchased gives you one entry for that item; several files of the same item still count as one entry. If you cannot provide an order number, you may still submit a photo and we may feature it on our website, but it will not be entered into the giveaway.

When you submit your entry, we email you a confirmation. Our team then reviews your submission; once accepted, your entry stays eligible every month until you win. We may decline a submission at our discretion, for example if it is blurry, does not show the product, or contains inappropriate content. A declined submission does not use up your entry; you can submit a new one for that item.

4. How winners are selected

Around the 1st of each month our team selects one winning entry for each of our 13 products: Certified Bat House (1-Chamber), Certified Bat House (3-Chamber), Bat House (4 Compartments), Bird House, Bird House with Camera, Owl House, Owl House with Camera, Large Owl & Duck House, Barn Owl House, Robin House, Bee House, Mounting Poles for Bird Houses, and Solar Powered Camera for Bird Houses.

Our team looks at how clearly the photo or video shows the product installed, its creativity, and its quality; any phone camera is fine. The size or style of your garden or property, and whether animals have used the product yet, are not factors. The chance of being selected depends on the number of eligible entries for each product. Entries not selected stay eligible in later months. A winning entry is no longer eligible, but the same person's entries for other products remain. Our team's decisions are final.

5. The prize

One prize per product each month (up to 13 prizes a month): one unit of the product the winning entry was for, in the colour or size of your choice where the product comes in several. Approximate retail value (US$, or the equivalent price in your local store):

  • Bird House: $39.95–$49.95

  • Bee House: $34.95
  • Mounting Poles for Bird Houses: $59.95–$119.95
  • Solar Powered Camera for Bird Houses: $99.95

The prize ships free from our nearest stock. If it is out of stock when you win, it ships as soon as it is available again. Prizes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred. If a product is discontinued, we may substitute a product of equal or greater value.

6. Notifying winners

Winners are notified at the email address given with their entry within seven days of the selection, and are announced in our newsletter with their first name and winning photo. A winner must reply within 30 days to confirm their shipping address; if they do not, the prize is forfeited and we may select another winner for that product. Canadian residents must correctly answer a skill-testing question before receiving their prize.

7. Your photos and videos

You keep the copyright in your photos and videos. By submitting them you give VXD INC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display them on teamwhitehorse.com, in our newsletter and on our social media channels, with your first name if you win, for as long as the Monthly giveaways page and those channels exist. You can ask us to remove your photos and videos at any time by emailing support@teamwhitehorse.com, and we will take them down within 14 days, although copies in newsletters already sent cannot be recalled. You confirm that you took the photos and videos yourself and that they do not infringe anyone else's rights.

8. Your personal information

We use your name, email address and order number only to run the giveaway: to verify your purchase, to confirm your entry, to notify you if you win, and to ship your prize. We do not sell this information or share it with anyone other than the service providers we rely on to run the giveaway. Our privacy policy applies.

9. General

We may suspend, change or end the giveaway at any time, and will say so on the Monthly giveaways page. We may disqualify any entry that we reasonably believe breaks these rules, uses an order number that does not belong to the entrant, or involves automated or fraudulent activity. Our decisions on all matters relating to the giveaway are final.

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any marketplace, social network or other platform on which our products are sold or promoted.
