Sizes and species: These guards are suitable for at least the following species in Europe:
- Size #1 (40 mm): Starlings.
- Size #2 and #3: These sizes are for North American species.
- Size #4 (32 mm): Common Redstarts, Eurasian Nuthatches, House Sparrows and Tree Sparrows. Keeps out Starlings.
- Size #5 (28 mm): Great Tits, Tree Sparrows, Pied Flycatchers and Crested Tits. Keeps out Starlings and House Sparrows.
- Size #6 (25 mm): Blue Tits, Coal Tits and Marsh Tits. Keeps out Starlings and House Sparrows.
